A day of community prayer with Grandfather, held by Johnathan Human and Tigre.
If you’d like to arrive the night before, come Friday from about 4 PM. Nothing is planned. There will be a fire going, a few guitars out, and time to land. Bring your own food for Friday, since meals aren’t provided that night. Folks nearby are just as welcome to arrive Saturday morning, but give yourself sometime to land before we begin at 9 AM.
Saturday begins with a light breakfast you bring for yourself (or a fast, if that’s your choice), and we begin ceremony at 9 AM. Together we build an altar that holds what each person carries in, and the prayer moves through the day. As evening comes we gather outside by the fire to share what came through, and from there the circle opens into a potluck, with everyone bringing something to the table.
You’re welcome to stay Saturday night, on the land under the stars or in one of the upgraded accommodations, and head out Sunday morning by 11 at your own pace. Or go home after the potluck and have your whole Sunday for family, travel, and rest. There’s no closing circle Sunday. We’ll gather again on a virtual integration call in December.
How to prepare, what to bring, and the potluck sign-up will all come by email in the weeks before. Please read those closely. There’s no prep call for this retreat, but any questions are welcome.
All retreat deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. They secure your space in the program.
Beginning 4 weeks prior to the event start date, you are responsible for the full retreat balance, whether or not you attend. This balance is non-refundable and non-transferable except in the case of a verified emergency. In such instances, refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to approval by retreat staff and facilitators.
